We’ve been here at this spot for quite a long time now. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of hardware stuff like nails, tools, pipes, and buckets. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when customers come in, but we usually know exactly where everything is hidden. Being at the More means there is always something happening outside. People are always passing by on their way to work or the market. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the district, we just like being the local hardware shop where people can grab what they need for a quick fix at home. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when three people want different things at the same time, but we manage. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We don't have any fancy marketing or big displays. It’s just us, the shelves full of stock, and the people from Sonarpur who stop in. We know a lot of the local builders and painters who come by regularly. It is a steady life here at Baikunthapur More. We just open up the shutters in the morning and see who the day brings in.
