Kristi Micro Services Foundation

Kristi Micro Services Foundation is run out of a place in Palpakuria. It’s care of Dali Sen’s house over in the Kazi Para area of Barasat. If you’re familiar with North Parganas, you know it’s a lively spot. We aren't in a big business park or anything. We are right in the neighborhood. It feels more personal that way. Dali Sen has been kind enough to let us operate from here. It’s a regular house, really. You might see some laundry hanging out or hear kids playing nearby while we are trying to get our work done. We handle everything from a small desk area. It isn't a very large operation, just a few of us. We spend a lot of time on our phones and computers, trying to keep track of everything. Barasat can get quite crowded, especially on market days. We don't have any of those polished marketing brochures. We think it’s better to just be straightforward about who we are. We are just people working from a home office in Kazi Para. It’s practical and it keeps our costs down. No need for a fancy storefront when we can just do our thing from here. Sometimes the power cuts out, but that’s just how it goes. We just pick up where we left off once it’s back on. It’s a very normal way of working for us. We don't need any big corporate branding to do what we do. We just keep on going.
