Our place is at A 70, Diamond Park in the Joka area of Kolkata. It’s down toward the 700104 pin code. We work with stainless steel here every day. Jindal Stainless Ltd. is the company, but for those of us on the ground, it’s just our daily workplace. The Diamond Park area has its own rhythm, and we are part of that. We handle a lot of different types of metal products. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. There is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. We don't have time for corporate slogans or long meetings about nothing. We prefer to just get to the point and do the work that is in front of us. The humidity in Joka can be a real pain, especially when you are dealing with steel, but we have our routines. Most of us have been here long enough to know the neighbors and the local tea shops. We aren't trying to be the most polished business you've ever seen. Our focus is just on being reliable and getting the tasks finished before we head home. The yard can get a bit cluttered when a big shipment arrives, but we sort it out eventually. It is just a regular group of people doing a tough job in a quiet part of the city. We keep things simple and honest without any of that fancy marketing talk that people use.
