Over in Kolkata, specifically Narendrapur, we have our setup at Sugam Park on N.S. Road. It is a bit of a distance from the main city chaos, but still keeps us busy enough. We are part of Jindal India Ltd., and we also have the Jangalpur connection in West Bengal. Being in Flat F-5 / 105 in Sugam Park makes for a different kind of workday compared to a big factory floor. It is more of an office vibe here. People in the building know us as the ones always dealing with papers and phone calls for the company. Narendrapur is a nice area, growing fast but still having that old Bengal feel in the side streets. We spend most of our time coordinating things between different sites. Sometimes the monsoon rains make getting to the office a bit of a challenge, but that is just how it is here. We do not have a big shiny lobby with a receptionist. It is just a functional space where we get the paperwork sorted and keep things moving. It feels more like a community here than a cold corporate office. We have our tea breaks nearby and talk to the other shop owners. It is a practical way to work without all the unnecessary fluff you find in bigger cities. We are just local people making sure the West Bengal operations keep ticking along smoothly.
