Jaquar & Company Limited

Our location for Jaquar & Company Limited is out in Budge Budge, Kolkata. The building is called Kheya and we are at 126/4 on Dharmatala Road in the Nandanpur area. It is a bit of a distance from the main city center, which means it has a different kind of feel to it. It’s much more of an industrial and residential mix around here. The road can be quite bumpy and gets very crowded with trucks and local transport. Our office is a simple place where we manage our daily tasks. We’ve got the usual stuff you’d expect—desks, a few computers, and a lot of registers. Budge Budge has its own history and way of doing things, and we are just a small part of that. The air can be a bit heavy sometimes because of the local industry, but we are used to it by now. We usually start our day early to avoid the worst of the humidity. There isn't anything fancy about our workspace. It’s just a practical room where the work gets done. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the local stall on the corner. The people working here are mostly locals from the nearby blocks. We don't really have a lot of visitors, so it's mostly just us focusing on our own work and trying to get through the daily tasks. It’s a very basic, honest way to run things, and we just keep it moving every day. Nothing too complicated really.
