Down here in Kolkata, at Cz-19 in the Metropolitan Co-Operative Housing Society, is where we set up our office. It’s a decent area, though finding a parking spot for the larger vehicles can sometimes be a bit of a headache. Ivrcl Infrastructures & Projects Limited has been using this space as a hub for our operations in this part of the city. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, stacks of files, and a few old chairs for when the site supervisors come in for their briefings. We do a lot of the heavy lifting for local infrastructure projects from here. It is not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or expensive artwork. It is a working office. We focus on getting the blueprints right and making sure the supplies reach the sites on time. Kolkata has its own pace, and we try to keep up with it while managing the humidity and the rain during monsoon season. There is always a lot of activity, people coming in with site updates or asking about equipment repairs. We have a small team here that knows the local streets and the way things work in the housing society. It’s practical work. We spend our days looking at timelines and checking off lists. If the tea kettle is on, you know it’s been a long morning. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects. It's crowded, but it works.
