Down in Kolkata, on Dr. B.C. Roy Road in the Jagaddal South area of Rajpur, you’ll find our Inter Gold Gems office. We’re part of the Orra name, but this specific location is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day operations for the gems side of things. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but it’s a good spot for us. The building isn't anything flashy; it’s just a place where we focus on the stones and the jewelry work. We spend a lot of time looking at very small things under magnifying glasses. It takes a certain kind of patience. We aren't much for big marketing talk. We’d rather just show the quality of the gems we work with. The staff here has been around for a long time. Some of the jewelers have been cutting stones since they were young men. It’s a craft, and we treat it that way. We don't have a big shiny showroom at this address; it’s more about the practical work behind the scenes. The neighborhood of Rajpur is pretty traditional, and we fit in well there. We keep things simple—we arrive in the morning, do our work with the gems, and head home. It’s honest, skilled labor. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to do what we do. Just good light, a steady hand, and enough time to make sure every stone is handled correctly.
