Ingersoll Rand Int. (I) Ltd.

Down here at 68 Sahid Binoy Bose Road in Bansdroni, things move at their own pace. We’re the Kolkata branch for Ingersoll Rand Int. (I) Ltd. and we’ve been in this building for years. Bansdroni is a busy area, but our street is a bit more tucked away. The office itself is quite old. You can see where the walls have been patched up over time, and the wooden desks have plenty of scratches from years of use. It smells a bit like old paper and engine oil, which isn’t surprising given what we do. We don't have an air conditioner that works all that well, so the windows are usually open, letting in the sounds of the neighborhood and the occasional breeze. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to technicians who are out in the field. It’s not the kind of place where you’d hold a formal party, but it’s perfect for sitting down and figuring out a mechanical problem. We’ve got a lot of respect for the machines we handle, and we try to treat the people who call us with that same directness. No big speeches or fancy brochures here. If you need something, you just come in and ask. We usually have a stack of newspapers on the table and a half-empty box of pens. It’s just a normal workplace for people who like to work with their hands and solve real problems.
