Guydro Chemicals

Our place is out in the village of Debipur, which is part of the Baruipur area in South 24 Parganas. It’s quite a way from the center of Kolkata, but we like it that way. Guydro Chemicals is situated here because we need the space and it’s easier to manage things outside the city. The post office is in Kundarali. It is a rural setting, so there are a lot of trees and open space around the facility. We have a small building where the office work happens and then the areas where we handle the chemicals. It can get very hot in the summer, and the monsoon rains sometimes make the roads a bit muddy and difficult for the trucks. We have a local crew working with us, mostly people from the nearby villages. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or fancy meeting rooms. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping an eye on the production process. We spend a lot of time checking containers and making sure everything is stored properly according to the rules. It’s a serious job, but we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We eat our lunch outside when the weather is nice. It’s a quiet life compared to the city, but there is always something to do around the site. We’ve been part of this community for a while and people here know who we are. It’s a solid way to make a living and support the local area.
