Geodis Overseas Pvt Ltd is located over at 195, Fartabad Road. We are inside the Kusum Kunja Apartment complex, in Flat-06. This is in the Garia area of Kolkata, 700084. It is a bit different working out of an apartment flat, but it works for us. It feels more personal and less like a cold corporate office. We handle overseas logistics, which involves a lot of international shipping and customs stuff. It sounds complicated, and sometimes it really is. Most of our day is spent on the computer or making international calls. The flat is always full of documents and folders. We have a small, dedicated team here in Garia. We know our neighbors and the local shopkeepers. We don't have a massive billboard on the street, just a simple sign near the entrance. We just focus on managing the logistics for goods going out of the country or coming in. It takes a lot of patience to deal with all the regulations. We just take it one step at a time. Kolkata is a crowded city, but Garia is a nice place to be based. We’ve been here for a good while and have a steady routine. We aren't here to impress anyone with fancy talk. We just want to make sure the shipments reach their destination. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is particularly tricky, but that’s just the job.
