In Kolkata, you can find us at 80 Sonalipark in the Garia area. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood, and our office is just a regular building among others on the street. We’ve been operating this Gammon India branch for a long time. The pace here is a bit different than the other cities, maybe a bit more relaxed in some ways but just as busy in others. We spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with paperwork for various construction sites. The office is often full of the smell of fish curry around lunchtime, and we usually sit together to eat and talk about football or the news. It’s a simple space with a few ceiling fans that have seen better days. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just the usual computers and printers that we hope don't jam when we're in a hurry. The 700084 area is where we live and work, so we know the local shops and the people around here pretty well. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking in the office itself, just the essential administrative work that keeps the bigger projects moving. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we like being part of the local community. We usually wrap things up by six and head out to catch the bus home.
