Electrosteel Integrated Limited

Our site is located at Dhalua in the Panchpota area of Kolkata. It is a bit further out from the main city center which gives us a little more breathing room, though it is still plenty busy. The address is 700152 and most of the people who work here live in the nearby colonies. We focus on the integrated side of the metal business and the yard reflects that. There are piles of pipes and heavy iron components scattered around in a way that looks messy to an outsider but makes perfect sense to us. The office is a simple room with a couple of old computers and a lot of notebooks. We don't go in for fancy decor or matching uniforms. Most of us just wear what is comfortable for a day spent around metal and dust. The monsoons can be a bit of a challenge because the ground gets muddy and the trucks struggle with the traction. We just put on our boots and keep moving. It is a very basic operation where people talk to each other directly instead of sending memos. We know our regulars and we know which parts of the fence need fixing. It’s just a normal workplace with real people trying to do a decent job every day without any unnecessary drama. Sometimes we stay late when things get busy, but that is just part of the trade.
