Caravel Domestic Logistics

Our little office is located in Sonajhil, Sonarpur, right in Kolkata. We’ve been operating under the name Caravel Domestic Logistics for a while now. Falguni Mridha is the person who looks after the place. If you come by, you’ll probably see us busy with piles of paperwork or talking on the phone with drivers. Kolkata is a big, noisy city, and Sonarpur has its own busy rhythm. We handle shipping and transport stuff mostly within the country. It is not a very fancy operation, just a group of people who know how to move things from one city to another. We don't have those shiny corporate offices with glass walls. Our place is more down-to-earth. We spend a lot of time figuring out the best routes and trying to avoid the worst of the traffic, which is a full-time job in itself here. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck getting a flat tire or the monsoon rains flooding the roads, and we just have to deal with it. We don't try to sound like we are some massive global giant. We are just a local business trying to do things the right way. Most of our day is spent making sure the boxes are where they need to be. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. We don't use any fancy talk or try to sell you things you don’t need. It’s just honest work for us every single day.
