Vasudev Traders

Vasudev Traders is located in Ward No 1 of Kantabada. We are very easy to spot because we are right near the Vasudev Mandir. In fact, that's where the name comes from. It’s a small community here and everybody knows everybody else’s business. We mainly supply goods to the local houses and the small farms around the edge of town. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with bags and boxes everywhere, but we try to keep a path clear for people to walk through. My wife handles the money and I do the heavy lifting and the deliveries. We have a small tempo we use to get things to people who can't carry them. Sometimes the rains make the road to the mandir a bit difficult, but we still manage to stay open most days. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to talk to us, you just come by the shop and we sit and talk. We get a lot of people stopping in after they visit the temple. It’s a nice way to spend the day, even if the work is tiring. We've been in Kantabada all our lives and this shop is just our way of making a living in the place we call home. We keep it honest and just try to get by.
