Deepak Fertilizers Petrochemicals Ishanya is out in Village Judapur Dandu. Our post office is also Judapur Dandu in the Tehsil-Soraon area. Being in a village means our work is very connected to the land. We handle fertilizers and petrochemical products that the local farmers and businesses need. It’s a large site with plenty of open space around it. The air is a bit different out here than in the city. We deal with a lot of heavy bags and large containers. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination with transport drivers. The trucks come in from the main road and it can get quite dusty. We don’t have a polished office with air conditioning in every corner. Most of the time we are out on the docks or in the storage sheds. We follow the rhythm of the seasons because that’s when the fertilizer is needed most. It gets very busy during the planting months. We all pitch in then. The village is a tight-knit community and many of the people working here are from nearby. We don’t have any big corporate speeches. We just know that the crops won’t wait. We focus on getting the supplies out to where they are supposed to go. It’s hard work and it can be messy. But it is important to the people around here. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
