You can find us over in Ward No 03 in Santipur village. It is right near Biswanath Chariali. We have been running Viburnum Computer Institute Private Limited for some time now. The building is pretty basic, but it serves the purpose. We have a row of computers for the students who come by. Most of the people who visit us are from right here in Sonitpur. They want to learn the basics of software or maybe just how to handle a keyboard properly. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. It gets busy in the afternoons when the schools let out. We keep the windows open when it’s hot, though the dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes. It isn't a shiny office building like you see in the big cities. We just have what we need. People come here because it's convenient and close to home. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually brings in the next batch of learners. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting little errors or helping someone print out a document. It’s steady work. We like being in Santipur. The community is tight. If the internet is slow, we just wait it out. We just try to make sure everyone gets their turn on the machines and learns a thing or two before they head home. It is a simple way to spend the day.
