Urka Communication

Our shop, Urka Communication, is located in Napaam. We are very close to Tezpur University, so we see a lot of students and teachers every day. Most of them come in because they need help with their mobile phones or some kind of connection issue. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except for when the university is in session and the whole street gets lively. We have been here for some time, and we know most of the people who live in this area. It’s not just about the university crowd, though. Plenty of local families stop by to see us as well. We don’t have a massive storefront with bright lights or anything flashy. It’s just a simple room with some counters and a few chairs for people to wait. Sometimes the internet goes out, or the power cuts off for a while, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in Napaam. It’s a small operation. We handle phone recharges, some basic repairs, and selling small things like cables or chargers that people need for their devices. We don't have a big corporate plan or any fancy goals. We just open up the shop in the morning and see who comes through the door. It’s a good way to stay connected with the local community. Most of the time, it’s just us chatting with our customers while we work. It’s a relaxed place, and we like it that way.
