Sr Green Tea

We run Sr Green Tea from Gameri Kafle Willa, which is a spot in Tezpur near Bakori Doloni. This part of Assam is famous for its tea, and we are proud to be a small part of that tradition. Our operation is very local and grounded. We don’t have a big factory or a high-tech office. Instead, we work out of a more personal space where we can keep a close eye on everything. We handle green tea, which takes a lot of careful work to get right. We spend our time sorting the leaves and making sure the drying process goes as it should. It’s a quiet life here compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. The air is fresh and the surroundings are peaceful, which I think helps with the tea anyway. We are just a few people working together to produce something we like. We don't have a marketing team or any polished sales strategies. We just rely on the tea we produce at Gameri Kafle Willa. Sometimes the logistics of getting the tea out to other places can be a bit of a challenge because of the local roads, but we always find a way. We aren't trying to compete with the massive tea brands. We just want to do our own thing and stay true to the local way of doing things in Tezpur. It's a lot of manual work but it keeps us busy.
