Shifa Clinic

This is Shifa Clinic, and we are right on the Main Road here in Sonitpur. If you are looking for the D.T.O. office, we are just a short walk from there. It is a very busy spot with cars and motorcycles constantly zooming past the front door, which means we get a lot of dust inside if we leave the door open too long. I spend a lot of my time wiping down the front counter because of that. The clinic is just a few rooms where we see people from the district who are feeling under the weather. We have a small cupboard where we keep the basic medicines and a fridge for the things that need to stay cold. There is a clock on the wall that is about five minutes fast, but we leave it that way because it helps us stay on schedule. The floors are grey stone, and they stay nice and cool even when the weather in Sonitpur gets really muggy. Most of our patients are people we see every month for their regular checkups. We know which chair they like to sit in and how they like their coffee if we have a moment to make some. It is a straightforward place where we focus on the basic things. We don't have any fancy machines, just the tools we need to listen to someone's heart or check their temperature. It works for us and the people who live around here.
