Naupukhuri Tea Company

Naupukhuri Tea Company is tucked away in Sharma Market along Gandhi Park Road. We are quite close to the railway stations, so we get a lot of people passing through who are just arriving or leaving town. You can often hear the trains in the distance while we are working inside the shop. The market is always buzzing with activity, and there are many other small businesses right next to us. We handle a lot of tea every day, moving bags around and making sure things stay dry and fresh. It isn't a very large space, but we make the most of it by stacking things high on the shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we get through it. The staff here is just a small group of local people. We know the area well and have seen how Gandhi Park Road has changed over the years. It’s a practical location for a tea company because of the transport links nearby. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations; we just have what we need to get the job done. Rain or shine, we are here in the market. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of the tea and talking to the folks who drop in from the station or the nearby park. It’s just a normal, busy life here at the shop. We keep a pot of tea going for ourselves and sometimes share it with the neighbors. That is how we spend our time in Sharma Market.
