Little Genius School

Little Genius School is right on the Main Road in Dhekiajuli, over in the Sonitpur district. It is a very visible spot because of all the traffic that goes by on the Main Road. You can hear the buses and trucks honking all day long, but the kids in the classrooms don't seem to mind much. We have students of different ages coming in every morning. The school building is several stories high and we use most of the rooms for classes. It is a busy environment. We have teachers who have been with us for a long time, and they just get on with their lessons. There is always a bit of a mess with bags and books, but that is just how a school is. We don't have a fancy lounge or a big marble lobby. It is just a place with desks, chairs, and whiteboards. During the breaks, the noise level goes up as the kids run around the small space we have. Parents like that we are right on the main road because it is easy to drop the kids off on their way to the market or work. We don't do much in the way of promotion; the school stays full just because we have been here in Dhekiajuli for years. It is a plain, functional school where the focus is just on the daily lessons and making sure the kids show up on time.
