L. C. Oil Mill

L. C. Oil Mill is situated on N.T. Road in the Darrang district. It is a straightforward place where the main thing we do is process oil. When you get close to the mill, you can usually tell by the smell and the sound of the machinery running. It’s a noisy place, and it’s definitely not a quiet office environment. We have the equipment taking up most of the space, and there’s always a bit of a mess from the daily operations. That’s just the nature of an oil mill. We aren't trying to hide the fact that it’s a working site. People from the surrounding areas of Darrang know us, and we’ve been part of the local landscape on N.T. Road for quite some time. We don't have a website or a big PR team. Most of our business happens through word of mouth or people just stopping by. We focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the quality of the oil is what it should be. The days are long and the work is physical, but we prefer it that way. We stay busy from sunrise onwards, getting the raw materials in and the finished oil out to the people who need it. It’s a simple operation, really. No fancy frills, just a lot of hard work and a lot of oil being moved around every single day.
