We are over in Sonitpur, in a small place called Chillonighat. It’s quite a bit away from the main town center, tucked back in the village area. Our address is house 109, and honestly, if you aren't looking for it, you might just drive right past. We use the post office over at Rangachakua and Naharbari for our mail, which takes a while to get here sometimes. It’s peaceful out here, though. We started Kangkanne Koneng LLP because we wanted to work from home and be close to the family land. There isn't much noise except for the birds and the occasional tractor going by to the fields. We don't have a fancy signboard or anything. Most of the people around here know us by name anyway. It’s a very local way of doing things. We spend our mornings checking on the daily tasks and maybe having a bit of tea before the real work starts. The roads can be a bit tricky during the monsoon season when the water pools up near the gates, but that’s just life in rural Assam for you. We don't try to act like a big city firm. We just do our work, keep our records straight, and try to make sure everything at the village office runs as smoothly as it can. It’s a slow pace of life, but it suits what we are trying to do here. There is no point in rushing things.
