Juris Emeralds Llp is based at House No 3406 in Ward No 12. This is the Ex Police Line area, which is a fairly quiet neighborhood to have an office in. It’s more of a residential-feeling spot than a commercial one, which suits the way we work. We don’t have a lot of walk-in traffic, which allows us to concentrate on the emeralds and the business side of things without too many interruptions. The house itself has been converted to fit our needs, so it has a very lived-in, comfortable atmosphere. We don’t go for the corporate look at all. There are emeralds being sorted on the tables and piles of ledger books that we keep updated. Most days are pretty much the same: we come in, check what needs to be done for the current orders, and get to it. The Ex Police Line area has its own history, and we like being part of that local fabric. You might hear the neighborhood kids playing outside or a neighbor’s dog barking, which just adds to the local feel of the place. We are a small group, and we’ve worked together for quite some time, so there isn’t much need for formal meetings or big speeches. We just handle the stones and the paperwork and try to stay on top of our daily goals. It’s a simple, honest way to run Juris Emeralds. We keep the gate closed mostly just to keep the stray cats out of the yard area.
