Aanvitha Foundation

We are located over in Majgaon, right here in Tezpur. Aanvitha Foundation started in this part of Sonitpur because it’s where most of us grew up. The office is at Jayanta Deka’s place in Kharati. It’s not a big fancy building, just a regular spot where we sit down and get things done. Most mornings, you’ll find a couple of us here drinking tea and figuring out the schedule for the day. Tezpur can get pretty hot in the summer, but the breeze from the open windows helps a bit. People stop by sometimes just to ask what we are working on. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that. Just some chairs and a few desks piled with papers. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except when the school nearby lets out. We spend a lot of time out in the community, but this house is where we keep our files and meet up. It feels more like a home than a workplace, which suits us just fine. We’ve been here for a while now and most of the neighbors know who we are. If you’re looking for us, look for the gate near the main road in Majgaon. We try to keep the gate open during the day so anyone can walk in if they need to talk. It’s simple, but it works for what we do here every day.
