We’re set up in the Industrial Area over in Baba Colony. It’s the kind of place where you hear the hum of machines and the sound of trucks moving all day long. We don’t have any gardens or fancy storefronts here; it’s all about the work. Surya Rang Udyog has been our life for a good while. We spend our hours working with dyes and colors, which is a heavy and often hot job. The Baba Colony area is practical—everyone here is doing something similar, whether it’s manufacturing or repairs. We know the guys in the units next to us, and we often help each other out when someone needs a tool or a hand with a heavy load. It’s not a place for suits and ties. Most of us are in old shirts that have seen better days. We don't have a lot of meetings or big presentations. Instead, we just check the batches and make sure the colors are coming out the way they should. The air in the industrial area always has a bit of a metallic or chemical smell to it, but you stop noticing after the first week. We like the honesty of this kind of work. You put in the time, you make the product, and you send it out. It’s a straightforward life in a busy colony, and we wouldn’t really have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and work.
