You can find us at Shop No. 1 in Kundali, right near the telephone exchange. It’s a small place but we pack a lot into it. We deal with threads and all the small things you need for sewing and garment work. The shelves are full of different colors and types of thread. We’ve been here in this spot for a good while, and most of the tailors and small factory owners in Kundali know the way to our door. It’s usually pretty busy in the afternoons when people realize they’ve run out of a specific color and need it right away to finish a job. We spend a lot of time counting out spools and checking the stock to see what needs to be reordered. Being near the telephone exchange makes it easy to explain where we are to new people. It’s not a fancy business, just a counter and a lot of boxes. We know our regulars by name and we know what they usually buy. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a few customers are in at once, but we make it work. The light in the shop isn't the best, so we often take the thread outside to the doorway to show the true color in the sunlight. We just focus on having what people need so they can get back to their machines and keep working. There is always a lot of chatter in the shop since the locals stop by quite often for their supplies.
