Rut Control

We set up Rut Control over in Sector-61, right near the bus stand. It’s a convenient spot because so many people pass by every day on their way to work. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a bit now. Our work is mostly focused on helping people manage pests and keeping things clean, though we don't like to make a big fuss about it. The shop is simple, with just some supplies and a desk where we take calls. Most of our day is spent out at people's houses or at local businesses. We carry our gear in the back of an old van that’s seen better days. My nephew joined me last year to help with the heavier jobs. We learned the trade by doing it, not from books. It’s not the most glamorous job, but someone has to do it, and we know the neighborhood well. People around the bus stand usually know where to find us if they have a problem at home. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just show up, look at the situation, and get to work. Sometimes the jobs are quick, and sometimes they take all afternoon. We just try to be honest with people about what can be done. It's a decent living, and we enjoy being out and about in the community instead of being stuck in an office.
