We are out at Plot No. 1350 in Phase 5 of the Rai Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever been to Rai, you know it’s a vast area with lots of factories and warehouses. Our plot is just one of many, but we’ve made it our own over the years. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s where all the industrial activity happens. The building is basically a large shed with some partitioned offices inside. It’s not the quietest place because of the surrounding industry, but you get used to the background hum of machines and trucks. We don't have any fancy signage or a big lobby. People usually just come to the side door. The workspace is filled with boxes and equipment we use every day. It can get pretty hot in the summer months, so we have fans going all the time. We’ve got a small team that manages the day-to-day operations. Most of us have been working in this estate for years, even if we weren't at this specific plot. It’s a practical location for what we do. We don’t really deal with walk-in customers much, so the industrial setting suits us just fine. There’s a small shop down the road where we get tea, and that’s about as much excitement as we get. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people trying to do a good job day in and day out.
