We are located on the ground floor of Pawan Plaza at Subhash Chowk. Being at number 8 means we’re easy to get to without having to deal with any stairs. Our shop is full of rolls of paper, ink bottles, and the big machines we use for printing labels. It gets pretty noisy when everything is running at once, so we usually have to talk a bit louder than normal. There’s always a smell of ink in the air, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend the day setting up the presses and making sure the colors look okay on the sticky paper. Sometimes the machines get jammed or a roll of labels gets tangled, and then we have to stop everything to sort it out. That usually results in getting ink all over our hands. People come by with all sorts of requests for their own small businesses. We try to get through the orders as they come in, but sometimes a big job takes up all our time for a few days. Subhash Chowk is a busy spot, so there’s always something happening right outside our window. We have a small corner where we keep the finished orders waiting to be picked up. It’s not a fancy operation, just us working with the equipment and trying to keep the labels coming out straight and clear every day.
