Mershi Charak Ayurvedic Clinic

Mershi Charak Ayurvedic Clinic is located right out on NH-1. We are in the village of Rai, which sits just alongside the highway. It is a very busy spot because of all the trucks and cars zooming past on NH-1 all day and night. You can always hear the rumble of the engines from inside. Being an Ayurvedic clinic, we have a lot of different herbs and things around, so the place has a very specific smell that people notice as soon as they walk in. It is not like a modern hospital at all. We have been in Rai for a while and the local villagers know us well. Some people traveling on the highway see our sign and pull over to take a look. The building is simple and reflects the traditional way we do things. We do not have a lot of high-tech equipment because that is not what we are about. We spend a lot of time preparing things by hand and talking to folks about how they are feeling. The dust from the highway can be a bit much sometimes, but we try to keep the front area clean. It is a practical place where we work hard and follow the old ways. People come to us because they want something different from the usual medicine. We just stay busy here in our little corner of the village.
