Our place is over at 574-B in Mohalla Kalan, which is right in the heart of Sonepat. Lir College Of Dance Private Limited is basically just a spot where people come to move around and learn some steps. We have a decent floor space that we try to keep clean, though with all the feet coming in and out, it is a constant job. You can usually hear the music from the street if the windows are open. It is not some high-end studio with fancy lights; it is just a room where we practice. The kids from the neighborhood come by after their school hours, and we also have some older folks who want to try something new. Sonepat can be a quiet place sometimes, but this corner stays fairly lively. We spend a lot of time just going over the same routines until everyone gets them right. There is a lot of sweat and sometimes a bit of frustration when a move is hard, but that is just how it goes. My sister and I handled the registration ourselves for a long time before we got any extra help. We don't have a big website or a bunch of slogans. We just like dancing and wanted to have a place in Haryana where others could do it too. It is a practical space for practical people who just want to learn how to dance without all the extra fuss.
