It’s usually pretty bright in here, which makes sense considering we deal with lamps. We are located out on Manihari Road in Kundli, over in the Sonepat district. The area can get quite dusty when the wind picks up, but inside we try to keep things moving. We spend a lot of time checking bulbs and making sure the wiring is right. It’s repetitive, but someone has to do it. The trucks come and go all day taking shipments to different places. It’s not a quiet office; it’s a place where things get assembled and packed into boxes. Sometimes the power flutters, which is ironic for a lighting company, but we have backups. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby villages. We eat lunch together and then get back to the assembly line. It’s a long road out here, and we’ve been part of this industrial stretch for quite some time. We don't spend much on decorations because we're focused on the inventory. Boxes are stacked nearly to the ceiling most weeks. If you’re looking for us, just keep driving down Piao Manihari Road until you see the sign. It’s a straightforward operation. We make the lights, pack them up, and move them out. There’s always a lot of tape being pulled and cardboard being folded. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
