Ketan Buttons Private Limited

Our factory is located on Plot 1297 to 1300 in the HSIDC Industrial Estate. We’re right near the Ethnic India Resort, which is usually how we tell people to find us when they get lost. Ketan Buttons is basically what the name says. We spend our days around machines and bins full of different kinds of buttons. It’s an industrial space, so it’s not particularly quiet or pretty to look at. There’s the constant sound of the machines and the smell of the materials we use for production. We have a large floor where the actual making happens and then a small area for the office work. We spend a lot of time sorting through different sizes and colors, making sure the counts are right for the orders. The industrial estate is quite large, and being near the resort gives us a nice landmark. We’ve got a team that knows the machines inside and out. It’s hard work and it gets dusty, but it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy showroom; we just focus on making the buttons and getting them shipped out to the garment makers. Most days involve checking the production line and dealing with the logistics of moving big quantities of small items. It's a bit repetitive, but there's a certain satisfaction in seeing the bins fill up at the end of the shift. We usually lock up around six and head home.
