Jagdamba Cutlery Pvt. Ltd is based over at 153 I&J in the Hsidc Industrial Areaepip Kundli. It is a big industrial patch and there are factories everywhere you look. Our place is full of the sounds of metal being shaped and polished. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but you have to pay attention so things turn out right. We have a lot of different machines and they all have their own quirks. The floor is usually covered in little bits of metal shavings. We aren't the kind of place with a fancy lobby or air-conditioned offices for everyone. Most of us are out on the floor where the real work happens. It gets quite loud, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the machinery. We’ve been here in Kundli for years. We’ve seen the roads get paved and then fall apart again. The tea break is the highlight of the afternoon for most of the crew. We don't try to sound like some giant international corporation. We are just a bunch of people making spoons, forks, and knives. It’s basic, honest work. We try to get the orders out on time and keep the quality decent. Some days are better than others, but we always show up and get through the list. It’s just how we run things around here and it seems to work out okay.
