JAGAN LAMPS LIMITED

JAGAN LAMPS LIMITED is situated out on Narela Piao Manihari Road, which is right near Kundli. It is a bit of a long drive from the main parts of the city, but the space we have here is exactly what we need for the lamps. We spend a lot of time on the factory floor, making sure the production line stays moving without too many hiccups. The heat in the peak of summer can be pretty intense inside the brick building, so we drink a lot of water and keep the side windows open. We have been making lamps for a long time. It is a steady business, though it has its difficult moments like anything else. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the big trucks passing through toward the border. We have a small office area near the front entrance where we handle the billing and the phone calls. It is nothing special to look at, just some metal desks and a couple of grey filing cabinets. We know the rhythms of this place very well. The morning shift starts early, usually before the sun is fully up over the horizon. We focus on the work right in front of us and do not worry much about what other people are doing. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it ourselves with basic tools. It is just part of the daily job here.
