J. B. J. Cranes

We have been sitting here in Murthal for a long time now. If you drive down the NS1 highway, you can probably see where we keep the cranes from the road. It gets quite dusty out here with all the trucks passing by constantly. J. B. J. Cranes started small. Just a couple of machines and a lot of hard work. Nowadays, we spend most of our mornings checking the engines and making sure everything is greased up properly. My brother usually handles the paperwork in the small cabin while I stay out with the guys. It is not fancy work. The cranes are heavy and they need a lot of attention. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains really hard and the ground gets all muddy near the highway. We just do what needs to be done. Most people stop by because they saw us from the road or someone told them we have what they need. We don't really do much advertising. There is usually tea brewing in the office if someone comes to talk about a job. It is a bit noisy because of the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. The machines take up a lot of space so the yard always looks a bit crowded. We try to keep it organized but that is easier said than done. Anyway, that is pretty much what goes on here every day from sunrise to sunset.
