Our company, Idiada Automotive Technology India Pvt Ltd, is based in House No 633 in Sector 14 of Sonepat. Haryana can get incredibly hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure the air conditioning is actually working. Our office is inside a house, which gives it a much more personal feel than a typical commercial building. Sector 14 is a decent residential area, so it’s usually pretty quiet outside, except for the occasional vegetable vendor walking by. We’ve converted the rooms into workspaces, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the equipment we have, but we make it work. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or a big HR department; we just take care of things ourselves. Usually, we start the day with a bit of a chat about what’s going on in Sonepat or the news, and then we get down to the technical stuff. It’s a straightforward environment. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound like we are some huge global firm. We are just a team working out of house 633, trying to do good work and keep things moving forward. Sometimes we have lunch together in the small garden out front when the weather isn't too punishing. It’s a good place to be. We have been here for a while and the neighbors don't seem to mind us much, which is always a plus.
