Up here in Sonipat, at the Gateway Campus, life revolves around design and buildings. Gateway College Of Architecture & Design is a place where you'll see students carrying big drawing boards or models made of foam and cardboard. The campus is easy to find if you are around the Sonipat Ho area. It’s not just about sitting in a room; there’s a lot of sketching and looking at how things are built. We have been here for some years now, and the atmosphere is usually quiet until the project deadlines get close. Then, everyone is staying late and drinking too much tea to stay awake. The weather in Sonepat changes a lot, so some days it’s freezing and other days the sun is really hitting the buildings. We have staff who have been around since the start, and they know where everything is kept. You’ll find people arguing about colors or shapes in the hallways. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't have those shiny corporate lobbies you see in movies. It’s more about the work on the tables. The local shops nearby get a lot of business from our students buying pens and paper. If you walk through the campus, you can see the work in progress everywhere. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s architecture for you. We just keep things moving and try to make sure the students have what they need to finish their work and get their degrees.
