G&G Supermarket

Setting up G&G Supermarket at Tuscan Towers was a big project for us. We are right on Nangal Road in Kundli, not too far from the Ram Mandir. People usually stop by after visiting the temple or on their way home from work. It is a simple grocery store where we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. You have your pulses, soaps, flours, and the usual snacks the kids like. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on the main road, and we have to scramble to get everything put away. It is mostly just family working here. We spend a lot of our time checking expiry dates and making sure the floors are clean enough for people to walk through. The lights inside are a bit bright, but it helps people see what they are buying. We aren't trying to be like those huge malls in the city. We just want to be the place where you can grab a liter of milk or some sugar without a lot of fuss. On weekends, it gets a bit hectic with everyone doing their weekly shopping at once. We handle the cash counter ourselves and try to keep the queue moving. It is a basic neighborhood shop and we like it that way. We know which neighbors prefer which brands of tea. It is just daily life in Kundli for us, and we stay busy from morning until we close at night. Sometimes the fridge hums too loudly.
