Frick Electro Contrls

Frick Electro Contrls is out at 1356 Rai Industrial Area. If you know the Rai area, you know it’s a lot of factories and warehouses. We are just one of the many units lined up along the roads there. It’s a long drive out here for some of us, but this is where the work is. The building itself is pretty plain—just bricks and concrete like everything else on the block. Inside, we have our workbenches and all the tools we use daily. It smells a bit like metal and grease, which you get used to after a while. We don’t have much of a front office, just a small space where we keep the computer and the phone. Most of the time we are out on the floor actually doing things. The industrial area can get pretty dusty, especially in the dry season, so we spend a lot of time cleaning our equipment. There isn't much in the way of places to eat around here, so most of us bring a tiffin from home. We sit together during the lunch break and talk about whatever is on the news. It’s a straightforward environment. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor or fancy furniture. We just want to make sure the stuff we build works the way it’s supposed to. It's hard work and long hours sometimes, but it’s what we know.
