Feed The Homeless Care Foundation

We started this over in Patel Nagar, right where Raj Bala's place is. It's just a regular spot in Sonipat. Usually, you'll see us busy with meals or organizing stuff to give out. We aren't a big office with fancy chairs or anything. Most days it’s just us trying to figure out who needs help today and how we can get food to them before it gets dark. The heat in Haryana can be pretty rough, so we move fast. Some people ask why we do it, but honestly, it just felt like someone had to. We've lived here a long time and you see things. You see folks on the street who haven't had a bite in days. It stays with you. So we use the space we have here in 131001 to keep things moving. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the bags and containers everywhere. We don't have a big staff, just a few neighbors and friends who drop by when they can spare an hour. Sonipat is a busy place, people are always rushing, but we try to slow down for the ones who get left behind. It’s not always easy and sometimes we run out of supplies earlier than we wanted. But then someone brings over a sack of rice or some vegetables and we get back to it. That’s just how it goes here. We don't need much, just enough to keep the kitchen going for another day.
