Ras Packaging

Ras Packaging is based out of the Hsiidc Industrial Estate Phase -2 in Barhi, specifically at unit 542. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by lots of other big sheds and manufacturing units. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but there is plenty of space for the work we do. We mostly deal with making boxes and different types of packaging materials. The facility is large and we have various machines that cut and fold the cardboard. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once. We spend our time managing the stock and making sure the orders are ready to be loaded onto the trucks. Barhi is a busy industrial hub, so there are always lorries coming and going from the estate. Our place is just a practical workspace where we get the job done. There aren’t any fancy decorations in the office, just some samples of the boxes we make. We have a small crew that has been working together for a while. The days are usually filled with the sound of tape and the movement of forklifts. It’s a tough, physical environment, but it is what we know. We make sure the packaging is sturdy enough for whatever it’s meant to hold. That’s really all there is to it at our unit in Barhi. We just focus on the boxes.
