Manish Gases

We have been running Manish Gases for a long time now. If you are looking for us, we are right in the Dahiya Market area of Kundali. It is a busy spot because we are so close to the Bank of Baroda. Sometimes you can see the long line of people waiting for the bank to open while we are unloading the first truck of the morning. It gets quite loud with the metal cylinders clanking against each other. The shop is near Shyamdham Chowk in Punagam, which is usually a mess of traffic by five in the evening. There is a lot of dust that comes off the main road, so we spend a lot of our time just wiping down the desks and the counter. It’s not fancy at all. We have a small back room where we keep the records and a couple of spare chairs that have seen better days. My nephew helps me out with the deliveries when he isn’t at school. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the name painted on the front. People usually know us by word of mouth anyway. The tea stall guy across the street brings us chai twice a day, and that’s when we usually take a small break. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and the sun beats down on the roof, making it like an oven in July. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure everyone gets their gas on time. It’s a simple life.
