Daansheel Welfare Foundation

Daansheel Welfare Foundation is our name, and you can find us at House Number 12 in Gudha. That’s in the Gohana district. It’s a small place, very local. We operate right out of the village area. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else. We focus on welfare work, which usually means helping out neighbors or organizing small things for the community. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. It’s just a regular house where we do our business. Being in the VPO Gudha means we are close to the people we are trying to assist. We spend our mornings planning and our afternoons usually out in the district. It’s practical work. We don't use big words to describe it. If someone needs something, they just come to house twelve. Gohana is a good place to be based. The pace is slower than the city, which lets us focus on the people. We keep our records in simple ledgers and on one old computer. It works for us. We’ve been here for a while and don’t plan on moving. The work is important to us, but we don't make a big deal out of it. We just wake up, get to the office area of the house, and start the day’s tasks. It’s a simple life of service in the village. We usually have the front door open for whoever needs to stop by.
