The shop is located on Sapala Road in the Karkoda area. We are right next to the OBC Bank, so use that as a landmark if you are coming to see us. We trade in various goods that the people and businesses around here use. Much of our day is spent moving crates or loading up trucks that pull into the lane. The inside of the building has all sorts of items stacked up on pallets. We have been part of the Karkoda community for a long time and we know how the local market moves. Some weeks we are dealing with one kind of supply, and the next week it is something different. We just follow what the local customers are asking for at the time. It is a very practical way to stay in business. We don't worry about making the front of the shop look like a boutique. It is mostly about having the right stock when a customer shows up. The people working here are just local folks who know the streets and the suppliers. We chat with the other shopkeepers and keep things going. It is a plain and honest way to live. We open the doors, check what we have left, and help whoever comes by. There are no corporate rules here, just people doing work. It gets a bit dusty and loud with the trucks, but that is fine with us as long as the work gets done.
