Arrogya Eye Hospital

Arrogya Eye Hospital is situated over on Atlas Road. It’s been here for a bit now. We spend our days looking at eyes and helping people see a bit better if we can. The road outside can get a little dusty during the dry season, but that’s just how it goes on Atlas Road. Most people who come in live nearby, though some travel a bit from other parts of town. The building isn't huge. We have our equipment and some chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. It's usually quiet inside, which is nice compared to the noise of the street. I usually get here early to open up the shutters. Sometimes the light in the morning is really bright coming through the front window. We just get on with it, day after day. If you’re walking down Atlas Road, you can’t really miss us. We don't have those big flashing signs or anything like that. Just a simple place. Sometimes we have a chat with the people waiting, hearing about their families or the weather. It makes the day go by faster. We focus on the work. It’s a job like any other, but you feel good when someone leaves happy. That’s our life here at Arrogya. Nothing fancy, just us and the patients. We’ve seen a lot of different cases over the years on this road and we keep going.
