Arjan Impex Pvt.Ltd is based over in Sonepat, specifically in the Eight Marla area at H.No 222. It’s a busy part of the city and our office fits right in with the local houses and small shops. We’ve been here for quite some time now, dealing with all the import and export paperwork that comes our way. The office is basically one large room with a few desks pushed together. We have these old wooden shelves that are completely full of sample products and thick folders from years ago. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when you’re looking for a specific document. The guys here are mostly locals who’ve grown up in Sonepat, so there’s a lot of chatting in the afternoons. We handle a lot of shipments going out to different places, and that means a lot of coordination on the phone. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to close the windows, even when it’s hot. We don't really have a big corporate structure. It’s more about who’s available to take the call or check the inventory. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much the most important piece of equipment we own. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where we focus on getting the job done. We don't worry much about how things look as long as the orders are moving and people get their items on time.
