Our place is situated at the 50th Km stone on National Highway 1, out in Murthal. It is a bit of a journey from the main city, but we like having the space that the highway provides. Most people think of the famous dhabas when they hear Murthal, but we are here doing a different kind of work. The facility at Ancalima Lifesciences is large and we have a lot of different sections for manufacturing and storage. It is not like a cramped office building. We have the sound of the trucks passing by on the highway all day, which becomes a sort of background noise after a while. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking and re-checking. We have a team of people who come in from all over, and we all eat together in the small canteen on the grounds. The work we do is very practical and requires a lot of attention to detail, so we don't have much time for fancy speeches or corporate events. Sometimes the weather out here can be a bit harsh, but the building is sturdy and keeps us dry. We have slowly added more rooms to the structure as we needed more space over the years. We aren't looking for any awards; we just want to make sure that everything leaving our gates is made correctly and safely. It is a quiet spot to work, away from the city rush.
