Alfa Hair Cutting Saloon

We have got our little hair cutting saloon tucked away in Dak Khane Wali Gali, just off Rohtak Road here in Sonepat. It is a very familiar spot for many of the people who live or work near Gur Mandi. The shop itself is pretty simple and basic—just a few chairs, some large mirrors, and the usual tools like combs and spray bottles. You will hear the constant sound of electric clippers and the rhythmic snip of scissors all through the day. We do not have any of those fancy reclining chairs or expensive modern lighting. It is just a local place where you can sit down, get your hair trimmed, and maybe have a bit of a chat about what is going on in the neighborhood. There is usually a news channel running on a small TV tucked in the corner. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so one of us is always sweeping it up between the customers. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, especially on Sunday mornings when everyone seems to show up at the same time. We have a small bench outside where people can sit and talk while they wait for their turn in the chair. It is a bit cramped inside when it is full, but nobody ever seems to mind much. We use the same reliable brands of talcum powder and aftershave that have been around for years. It is a basic setup where we focus on doing a decent job for the guys who come in.
